One unique aspect of found.ee is the ability to embed HTML code directly on your Music Pages. This includes YouTube videos (more info on that here) and Spotify players as well as pretty much any other platform that provides embed code.

In this article, we go through some additional use cases for this, including a direct Shopify e-commerce store integration and a BandsInTown tour widget.

Adding your Shopify widget to your found.ee pages creates a seamless checkout experience with fewer clicks, so you can retain your customers and maximize your sales, and adding your tour calendar can allow fans to quickly get to a ticketing link for upcoming shows. Check out the video below & read more to learn how to add embed code to your found.ee pages!

Key Steps

  1. From your found.ee dashboard, access the landing page builder by clicking on the Marketing tab on the left side of the screen, selecting Create Pages, and then choosing any of the available page types.

  2. Once you're in the landing page builder, select the + Widget button at the bottom of the page.

  3. To add a Shopify Store:

    • Add the buy button via the Shopify app store.

      • Click here for the Shopify tutorial on creating your Buy Button Channel & Buy Button.

    • Customize the items in your collection.

      • Note: If you want more than 1 product to display, you must create a Collection Buy Button for a Collection rather than a single item.

    • Copy the code provided.

    • Paste the code into the Widget section of your found.ee landing page builder and save the changes.

  4. To add a BandsInTown widget:

    • Access the BandsInTown marketing tools on their website.

    • Customize the widget.

    • Copy the code provided.

    • Paste the code into the Widget section of your found.ee landing page builder and save the changes.

Things to Consider

  • Ensure that the embed code is copied accurately to avoid any errors in the display.

  • Make sure to customize the widget according to your branding and preferences for a cohesive look on your page.

  • Avoid adding multiple embeds to the Widget section, as the platform is designed to accommodate only one widget effectively.

    • If you would like to include multiple embeds, consider our Two-Column Layout, which provides an additional embed section. Click here for an example!

  • Test the embedded widget after pasting the code to ensure it appears correctly on the page.

  • Seek additional guidance from the respective platforms (e.g., Shopify, BandsInTown) for more detailed customization options if needed.
