A Music Release page is a versatile promotional tool utilized by artists & labels which provides multiple options to access an album or single release in a single, visually dynamic landing page. With found.ee, you can create Music Release pages quickly and easily, while also providing numerous design & customization options to take your release to the next level.

In comparison to Pre-Save pages, Music Release pages are designed for albums & singles that have already been released. Here’s how it works and what you can expect!

Access the Music Release Page Builder

  • From your found.ee dashboard, navigate to the Marketing tab on the left-hand side of your screen, select Create Pages and choose Music Release Page.

Choose Your Page Layout

From the top left corner of your screen, you can choose from the following page layouts:

  • Modern One-Column Layout (default): This layout is straightforward and clean, ideal for a focused presentation. Click here for an example!

  • Default Two-Column Layout: This option includes an extra widget space where you can embed multimedia content like YouTube videos, Spotify playlists, Shopify stores, and more. Click here for an example!

  • Modern One-Column Layout – light version: This new layout provides a minimalist option with logo-free destination tiles and a website-style header. Click here for an example!

(Note: in the video walkthrough above, we've selected the Modern One-Column Layout.)

Scanning & Auto-Populated Elements

To create a Music Release Page, simply enter your release's UPC code and click the pink Search button. (Alternatively, you can also use an Apple Music link or an ISRC code, if desired.)

After you add search criteria and prompt our system to scan for your release, the following information will be added to your landing page:

  • DSPs & Outlets: Our system will automatically add any major digital service providers (DSPs) & outlets associated with your UPC code.

  • Album Artwork: By default, your album artwork is automatically added to the page, and is also set as the page background. For the background, the album artwork is displayed with a subtle 30% opacity blur, creating an attractive visual effect while ensuring that the focus remains on your music. However, you can always change this afterwards!

  • Artist Name and Release Title: Your artist name and release name are automatically added as the title & subtitle of your music page.

    • To change this, simply click on the text preview and edit accordingly.

Customizable Elements

  • DSPs & Outlets: If you want to remove any of the auto-populated DSPs/outlets, simply click on the black (x) button to the right of the outlet you want to remove.

    • You can also add additional DSPs, outlets, or custom buttons by clicking "+ Store Buttons" block at the bottom of the landing page editor – click here to learn more!

  • Outlet Links & Call-To-Action Buttons: On the right-hand side of the page, in the section titled Button URL's + Geo-Links, you have the flexibility to modify the links & call-to-action buttons for any of the auto-populated outlets.

  • Social Media Buttons: To add social media buttons, click the "+ Social Media Buttons" block at the bottom of the landing page editor. With this tool, you can include links to your social media & online profiles, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, Soundcloud, Spotify, or a website.

Advanced Settings

  • Geo-Pages (available for Premium & Power users): With this tool, you can adjust how your landing page is displayed to users in different countries. (Note: you must first save your landing page before you can make these customizations)

    • To create a custom display for a particular country, scroll down to the Geo-Pages section on the right side of the landing page editor, click the drop-down arrow, select the country you want to create a custom view for, and click the Add Geo button.

    • Once you click Add Geo, you will be able to make any edits to this landing page, including the list/order of outlets, call-to-actions, links, and more.

    • By default, your found.ee Universal Pixel will fire across all geo-pages, however, if you'd like to add additional pixels by geo, you can do so via the Geo-Pixels button, displayed directly underneath the geo you just added.

    • To create additional geo views, repeat the steps above. Then, to save your changes, scroll up to the top of the page and click Update.

  • Routing: To enable Automatic DSP Routing, simply click the toggle switch under the Routing section, located at the very bottom of the right sidebar. With this option enabled, fans will automatically skip the landing page and be taken to their preferred DSP store, based on their activity on your previous found.ee landing pages.

By following these steps, you'll create a compelling landing page that effectively promotes your music release!
