Step 1: Navigate to the Marketing Tab
From your found.ee dashboard, look at the left-hand navigation menu.
Click on the Marketing tab. This section contains all your created smart links and pages.
Step 2: Locate the Page to Edit
By default, you will see a list of links and pages created within the last seven days.
Locate the specific Pre-Save Page or Music Release Page you need to update.
Scroll to the right-hand side of the page's listing to find the Actions button.
Step 3: Initiate the Editing Process
Click on Actions.
From the dropdown menu that appears, select Edit.
Step 4: Update Page Details and Settings
Once inside the page builder, you can make any necessary changes. Common updates include:
Buttons: Add or remove buttons. This is particularly important when transitioning a page from a Pre-Save status to a live Music Release Page; you may need to manually change the button type/link to the live stream URL.
Release Details: Ensure the Release Date and Time are correct, especially if you had to adjust your release schedule.
Design: Update the background photo, album artwork, or background color.
Extra Features: Modify or add new features like widgets, social media buttons, or custom buttons.
Step 5: Save and Finalize Your Changes
After making all desired updates to the page, click the Finish button located at the top of the page editor.
Your changes will now be live on the Smart URL.
If you attempt to navigate away from the page without saving, a pop-up reminder should appear, prompting you to either Save or Cancel your changes.
Cautionary Notes and Tips
Check Release Details: Always double-check that the release date and time are entered correctly. Incorrect details can lead to issues with button functionality on release day.
Manual Adjustment: If your release is live but the system cannot automatically find the active streaming link (troubleshooting pre-save pages), you may need to manually adjust the buttons and links to ensure fans are directed to the correct destination.
