How’s your audience looking these days? Are you starting to see that “total audience” number climb?

Here’s the thing - the pixel makes data collection easy. As soon as your audience encounters your pixel, they’re added to your audience in your account. As a smart marketer, you’re going to want to get the most out of that data - you don’t want to miss out on your audiences from any of your channels! Get the most out of your audience with these 3 easy steps:

1. Bring the pixel to your audience

Don’t rely on data collection just from your landing pages! You can get lots of data there, but you may be missing a chunk of your audience if you don’t bring your pixel to them. Make sure you install your pixel on your website, use to shorten any links you share (such as links to your YouTube channel, press features, ticket links & more), and use the Embeddable Players to track audiences listening to your music.

2. Create custom audiences based on your goals

Now that you’re capturing your whole audience, start segmenting! automatically segments your audience into groups based on their activity on Spotify and Apple Music, but don’t just stop there. Create custom audiences to reach the right fans at the right time with the right offering!

You can create audiences based on geo-location, what link someone clicked, where they were before they encountered your pixel, where they were when they encountered your pixel, where they went after encountering your pixel, their browser, and operating system. You can combine these to get powerful, granular data on your audience’s behavior.

For example, let’s say you have a 3 city tour and you’re promoting your event with a landing page that directs your audience to where you’re selling tickets. You can create a custom audience for each city, and each link on your page. Not only do you now have any visitors to that landing page in your total audience, but you now have an audience of people from a specific place that you know have purchased tickets in the past. They are now just a click away to reach again when you’re back on tour. And that leads us to...

3. Reach your audience

Understanding your audience’s behavior is very powerful, but now it’s time to rally them to action. Once your audiences are set up to your liking, you can reach them easily and affordably through ads! Want to reach that audience in LA that bought your event tickets? Simply click “reach” to launch a remarketing ad that will find your audience where they’re already browsing.
